Data Security’s HD-6600 cavity degausser meets DoD requirements for purging classified information on magnetic disk media up to 4200 Oersteds and magnetic tape media up to 2800 Oersteds.*Effective for completely erasing 5000 Oersted disk media.

The HD-6600 satisfi es all applicable regulations and guidelines.

The HD-6600 is listed on the National Security Agency Evaluated Products List-Degausser (EPL-D).

The HD-6600 is available in floor model and rack mountable versions.

Erasure
Independent scientifi c testing confirms this degausser erases hard disk media with coercivity ratings up to 4200 Oe and magnetic tape media with coercivity ratings up to 2800 Oe.

Chamber accommodates all disk drives to 3.5 in. (89 mm) high by 6 in. (152 mm) wide by 10 in. (254 mm) deep. Effective degaussing field is 6 in. (152 mm) square by 3.5 in. (89 mm) high.
